Exciting Changes In Our Practice!!
After careful consideration, our practice has decided to join the University of Pittsburgh Physicians' Department of Womens' Health. This change will be effective February 1, 2013 and will continue to allow us to provide you with the highest quality of care. In addition to this, we will have access to the latest research and clinical advances from the UPMC Health System and its vast network of services.
The UPMC network of services and facilities can successfully provide you with the latest advancements in healthcare technology. We will conveniently have the ability to coordinate all of your healthcare needs with the outstanding UPMC colleagues when emergency or subspecialty care is necessary. Serving patients remains our top priority. Please be assured we will continue to participate with most insurance plans including most Highmark plans. Should you have any questions regarding coverage, please call our office.
You should not notice any significant changes in how our practice operates. The same familiar staff will continue to work in our offices and is available to address all of your questions and concerns. Your original medical records will remain at our office. Should you need a copy of those records, we will be happy to provide them to you upon your written request. Our contact information and telephone numbers remain the same as always.

Important message for Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield Members
Thank you for trusting your health care to our practice. We value our relationship with you and want to make sure that you are not confused by some things you may have heard in the news or from other health care providers.
We are not affected by the current contract dispute between Highmark and UPMC. As a Highmark member, you can continue to receive care at our office indefinitely since we continue to be part of the Highmark network.
You also have access to UPMC physicians and hospitals now and at least through
December 31, 2014.
If Highmark and UPMC are not able to reach a contract agreement, you can continue to receive care from our office. And we will work with you to help you get qualified hospital care, testing and other specialized care that you may need in the future. That's our promse to you.
If you have any questions, please feel free to talk with us about this important issue.
